Integration Details for Toast POS
  1. Access Toast Web: Log in to your Toast Web account with administrative privileges.
  2. Navigate to Payment Options: Go to Payments & Payment methods & Payment options.
  3. Enable Digital Receipts:
    • Locate the Digital Receipt Options under the Credit section.
    • Set Digital Receipt Dialog to Yes.
    • Set Credit Receipt Options to Prompt for Receipt Options or Always Print Receipt.
  4. Configure Device Settings: On each POS device, tap Setup & Device Setup & Digital Receipts and select Yes, use digital receipts.
  5. Set Up Guest Data Collection: Ensure guests are prompted to enter their email or phone number during the payment process.
  6. Test the Configuration: Process a test transaction to ensure digital receipts are sent accordingly.

  1. Access Receipt Settings:
    • Open the Square POS app.
    • Tap the More option (three horizontal lines) to access the menu.
    • Go to Settings & Checkout & Signature and Receipt.
  2. Enable Digital Receipts: Ensure Skip Receipt is toggled off to allow customers to choose their receipt delivery method.
  3. Collect Customer Contact Information: During payment, prompt customers to enter their email or phone number to receive a digital receipt.
  4. Automatic Receipt Delivery: For subsequent purchases, Square will send receipts to the associated email without further prompts.
  5. Managing Automatic Receipts: Customers can adjust their preferences by clicking Manage Preferences on any emailed receipt.

  1. Access the Setup App: On your Clover device’s home screen, tap the Setup app.
  2. Navigate to Receipt Settings: Select Payment Receipts within the Setup app.
  3. Enable Automatic Receipt Options:
    • Toggle on Automatically print customer receipt after each order.
    • Toggle on Skip receipt screen & begin next transaction.
  4. Collect Customer Email Addresses: Prompt customers to provide their email addresses during the payment process.
  5. Verify Email Receipt Settings: Ensure the option to send receipts via email is enabled.
  6. Test the Configuration: Process a test transaction to confirm digital receipt delivery.

Option 1: Using Tasker

  1. Download and install Tasker from the Google Play Store

Step 2: Create a New Profile

  1. Open Tasker and tap the “+” icon to create a new profile.
  2. Select Location as the trigger.
  3. Tap Search to select the restaurant’s location:
    • Manually move the map or type the restaurant name/address.
    • Adjust the geofencing radius as needed (smaller radius for precise locations).
  4. Tap the back arrow to save the location.

Step 3: Add a Task to Open the Web App

  1. After saving the profile, Tasker will prompt you to add a task. Tap New Task.
  2. Name the task (e.g., “Open n’ Again”) and tap the checkmark.
  3. Tap the “+” icon to add an action.
  4. Choose App > Open URL.
  5. Enter the web app link for the restaurant (e.g., https://nagain.com/restaurant-name).
  6. Tap the back arrow to save the task.

Step 4: Add a Notification

  1. Tap the “+” icon again to add another action to the same task.
  2. Choose Alert > Notify.
  3. Enter a title (e.g., “Scan Receipt with n’ Again”) and a message (e.g., “Welcome to [Restaurant Name]! Tap to scan your receipt.”).
  4. Tap the back arrow to save.

Step 5: Add a Sound or Vibration (Optional)

  1. Tap the “+” icon again and choose Alert > Beep or Alert > Vibrate to make the phone buzz or play a sound.
  2. Customize the duration or volume as needed.

Step 6: Save and Test

  1. Tap the back arrow to save the task and profile.
  2. Visit the restaurant location to test if the automation works:
    • You should receive a notification with sound or vibration.
    • Tapping the notification should open the n’ Again web app.
Option 2: Using Automate Step 1: Install Automate
  1. Download and install Automate from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Create a Flow
  1. Open Automate and tap the “+” icon to create a new flow.
  2. Add a Location Trigger:
    • Tap Add > Location and select Enter Geofence.
    • Choose the restaurant’s location and radius.
Step 3: Add a Notification Block
  1. Tap Add > Notify.
  2. Enter a title (e.g., “Scan Receipt with n’ Again”) and message (e.g., “Welcome to [Restaurant Name]! Tap to scan your receipt.”).
  3. Set the notification to open the n’ Again web app (use the web app URL: https://nagain.com/restaurant-name).
Step 4: Add a Play Sound or Vibrate Block (Optional)
  1. Tap Add > Play Sound or Vibrate to alert the user.
Step 5: Save and Activate
  1. Save the flow and test it by visiting the restaurant location.
  2. Automate will send the notification and launch the app as configured.

Automation for iOS users:

  1. Open shortcuts app
  2. Go to the automation tab at the bottom
  3. press the + in the top right to create an automation
  4. select “Arrive” option
  5. enter location of your favorite restaurant and select run immediately at the bottom
  6. Press the grey “Get Started” button and then in the Search Actions bar type Open URL and then enter: n-again.com
  7. In the Search Actions bar type Show Notification and enter then type Speak Text action and enter. For both, enter “Scan your receipt”
